A warning to the Wise
Senior Pastor Craig Hines discusses how Christians need to stop making themselves judges of each other. Only the Lord's judgment matters. Many Christians are living as if their wealth and status are all they need, while the true believer serves Christ in poverty and under persecution, imitating Christ. The sermon places emphasis on changing course and imitating Paul's life. In First Corinthians 5, Dr.Hines points out how Paul's confrontational tone toward the arrogant insists on how he will return to them with a rod of correction. Now he points to a specific result of their pride: They have failed to respond to one among them who is openly committing sin, and that there are consequences for it.
